I am the type of person that don’t usually go out that’s why when I was invited by my friend to go with her in Pangasinan, I hesitated at first. Of course I was also thinking about school. That would be a total of 5 days and 4 nights. Isn’t that long for a student weekend? LOL.
So and so, I eventually said “yes”. Alright. We went there with our fellow Popsters (fans of Sarah Geronimo) and ate Rosh. By the way, my friend’s name is Ellen, and Rosh is Ellen’s officemate. We’re four, total.
Thursday night at 8 P.M. Because of the stories about Hundred Islands, I was so excited to pack my things. I prepared my Adidas backpack for my things—swimwear , jeans, blouses, tees, sunglasses, undies, slippers and of course my laptop. Slept at almost 12 in the morning.
Friday morning at around 8. I need to go up because I need to attend one subject that day, accounting! Then my class ended almost 10 A. M. I hurriedly went back to our unit to go grab my things and take the bus to Pangasinan!
We’re in the bus. I was hungry, Ellen prepared fried chicken earlier for lunch (no rice), fair enough, I’m on a diet. LOL. To make the story shorter, the travel took about 6 hours. After we had our dinner we went to ball because it’s their barangay fiesta. We played (or gambled? :D) ABC’s where you bet and if you win, you’ll get the same amount as your prize, choose your lucky color and rotating lights. It is a tiring day, isn’t it?
Saturday. We rested in the morning, ate a lot of foods, there’s the videoke, then in the afternoon we had a small drink. I was drunk. Ate Rosh was drunk but the rest they’re still alive!
Sunday, Hundred Islands day! Finally, we’re going to the hundred islands on this day! We went to “pantalan” where we took a boat to the islands. We visited the different island before we landed on the main island where we stayed for the rest of the day. The most catching island was the Bat Island where the “panikis” or bats are living. You can see black stuff hanging on trees, there are a lot! All of those are bats which look like flowers from a distance.
Swimming time! The sand was really white and fine. It was my first time to experience a beach like that. I excitedly changed outfit to take a swim. Water was cool, waves were big on the other side. We saw sea creatures like brittle star, and something like an earthworm, we just called it sea worm. We don’t know the name. LOL. We played on the water like kids, we played volleyball on the shore, ate mangoes, shrimp, spring rolls, and drank ice cold coke!
We went home early because ate Rosh needs to be in the bus before six in the evening. Long day so need to have a very good sleep. And before that, Ellen’s dad grilled some freshly dressed chicken, what a superb dinner!
Monday. The Popsters went to Baguio, we stayed in Pangasinan. We spent the rest of the day resting, chatting, playing with Ellen’s nephews, flying a kite! We decided to stay another day there in Pangasinan. We went back here in Manila on Wednesday morning. How we wished we could stay longer but it’s time to face the world again, school, dorm, school, dorm.
Until now, I’m still dreaming of going back to that place, the place where paradise lies. Place where you can have peace and happiness.

Stall
There are too many ways I stall before doing my homework or reviewing for an exam. I watch a movie, play cards, play computer games, sleep, eat, chat and without noticing it I have already lost almost all the time I should allot in reviewing. I just don’t have a sense of urgency. I always cram. But I’m working on it. I can see the effects of cramming, and it’s hurting my grades. Though some people are better when they cram, it is always good that you do your work early. It is better to review for so many days than to review all the lessons for just one day. It wears out your brain. I hope this attitude goes with my behavior.

PCOS Machines
I have an aunt who is a principal in a public school in Bulacan. She and her fellow teachers had an orientation last week about the coming election. They also tested and tried the machines. Some of the ballots were ejected. Votes from the trial are already stored and some of the teachers don’t know how to reset the machines.
I’m sure there will be lots of problems and disputes during the election. And who will take all of that? Us and especially the teachers. Filipinos, especially the old and the uneducated will surely find it hard to adjust with this new procedure. This coming election is an election where mistakes have no place. There can be only one ballot for a person. Make a mistake in that ballot and your vote will not be counted. And surely that will be very chaotic. People will surely complain if their votes will not be counted. There will be lots and lots of complaints. Soon in the future, if Filipinos will continue to comply with this procedure the election will be for some people only. Not all eligible Filipinos can vote. Little by little our election procedures are becoming analogous with those of the US’s where only a few of its citizens can vote. I don’t think the Filipinos will agree with that.
We’ll see what will happen in the election. Good Luck to all of us.

First Entry
It’s my first time to make a blog. Since it’s a personal journal, I would like my first entry to be somehow about me. Honestly, I’m not comfortable of opening myself up to others, because it will make me vulnerable. Maybe, I’m just afraid. As time passed by I realized that being vulnerable isn’t a bad thing. It can be an outlet for learning. And I think this is the time, with this blog, to make myself vulnerable.
Low profiler
He doesn’t wanna be called, he doesn’t want a scold
A believer, a dreamer in the inside
But always keeps his pieces from the outside
Inching steps, hiding in the shadows
Competent, but will too shallow
Afraid; He just wanna play safe
Aversive; He just go with the flow of the tape
He knows there’s a lot for the taking
And He knows something inside is aching
There’s a being who wants to come out
A person who wants to scrape all doubts
Suddenly he let his heart speak out
He has learned not to waste all that surrounds
And with that… it is life that he has found
